Evelyn Perez-Verdia, ‘02

Evelyn Pérez-Verdía is a graduate from the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢, and she is now the Statewide Advisor for Latino Issues. Pérez-Verdía is the CEO of We Are Más, where she works with elections offices, non-profit organizations, local, state, federal, and presidential campaigns.

In the past, Evelyn Pérez-Verdía has worked as a communications and engagement consultant for two of the largest election offices in Florida, and as a program and focus group coordinator for the Florida Institute for Community Studies where she conducted focus groups with migrant women and youth.

She has served as chair or board member on numerous nonprofits statewide focused on Latinos and diversity in Florida. At the age of 27, she became the President of the Hispanic Alliance of Tampa Bay, a non-profit that represents 36 different Latino Organizations in the Tampa Bay area. In 2018, Pérez-Verdía was appointed to be part of a Latin-American Policy Advisory Board for a gubernatorial candidate.
