Graduate Programs
M.A. in Philosophy and Philosophy and Religion
The Department of Philosophy offers an MA in Philosophy with two concentrations, a general concentration in philosophy and another in philosophy and religion. Students pursuing a terminal MA are not funded by the Department. The MA requires thirty credit hours and a "culminating project," which may be either an MA thesis or a comprehensive exam. Students admitted to the Ph.D. program may also submit a portfolio of three seminar papers as their culminating project.
Please see the current for up-to-date information on requirements for the MA.
