Tianxia Yang is an associate professor of finance in the Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance in St. Petersburg, where she helps students expand their knowledge in courses such as international finance and financial modeling, focusing on financial theories and concepts.
She joined аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢in 2019, coming from Villanova University where she served as faculty director in the Villanova School of Business Honors Program. Her research has been published in numerous academic journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, Managerial Science, the American Business Law Journal, the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Journal of Banking and Finance. She serves as the invited expert of the Shanghai M&A Financial Research Institute and is the recipient of the Financial Services Exchange Research Award, the Oxford-Yale Research Grant and the National Natural Science Foundation of China Research Grant.
She earned a PhD from the University of Georgia, and MBA and master's degree from the University of Miami.
