аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢AMA, advisor receive top awards
Tampa, FL (March 25, 2013) — USF's American Marketing Association received a Silver Chapter Award at the association's awards banquet on Saturday in New Orleans, continuing the student organization's run as a top chapter in North America. The silver award is the American Marketing Association's second-highest honor: only three chapters received gold awards, and only five chapters received the silver award.
Chapter Advisor Victoria Panzer also received one of only three outstanding faculty advisor awards at the conference. The award is given based on student recommendation letters.
"She has been the heart and soul of USF-AMA for 15 years," said Jill Solomon, the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢chapter's co-advisor. "Our chapter was almost dormant when Victoria became advisor. Under her leadership, we have become one of the top clubs in the country."
Marketing Department Chair Anand Kumar said the silver award is "a terrific achievement" and credited Panzer with helping the students succeed.
"We all knew Vicki was the best, but it is nice to have AMA affirm that," he said.
