Klejdis Bilali is a Criminology doctoral student at the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ (USF), and a research assistant at the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Trafficking in Persons (TiP) Lab. Presently, she is also a mental health counseling intern at the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Department of Pediatrics’ Infectious Disease Program. She completed her MA in Clinical Psychology at the University of Central Florida where she facilitated trauma-focused psychotherapy with youth victims of sex trafficking involved in the child-welfare system. Her primary clinical and research interests revolve around better understanding behavioral and mental health outcomes of human trafficking, with a focus on prevention and intervention.
