Roger A. Boothroyd, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Mental Health Law and Policy at the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute, College of Behavioral and Community Sciences at the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息 where he has worked for the past 17 years. He also holds a faculty appointment in the College of Public Health. He received his PhD in Educational Psychology and Statistics from the State University of New York at Albany, specializing in measurement, evaluation, and research design. He teaches courses in measurement, research methodology, program evaluation, and statistics.
Dr. Boothroyd has been conducting mental health services research for the past 20 years. He is currently the Principal Investigator on a contract with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration designed to evaluate Florida鈥 implementation of Managed Medical Assistance program and a Co-investigator on an NIMH-funded training grant to conduct an intensive summer research institute for undergraduate students (SRI@FMHI). Prior to joining the faculty at the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息, Dr. Boothroyd was a Research Scientist with the New York State Office of Mental Health where he worked for eight years directing several federally-funded research and demonstration projects.
Dr. Boothroyd is an active member of the American Public Health Association and currently represents the mental Health Section on the APHA Governing Council. He is also an active member of the American Evaluation Association and is serving the Alcohol Drug and Mental Health Topical Interest Group鈥檚 program co-chair for the 2015 AEA annual meeting. He is a Consulting Editor for the Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Child and Adolescent Behavior. He is a member of the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息 Office for Undergraduate Research Advisory Committee.
