School of Aging Studies faculty and staff recently attended the Florida Healthcare Association (FHCA) Annual Conference in Orlando. In addition to catching up with former faculty, alumni, and administrators, the team spoke with conference attendees, sharing details about their research and academic programs.
"Our goal for this conference was to increase awareness in the long-term care industry about our revamped Health Care Administration program, to connect with old and new community partners, and to see former Aging Studies students now in the workforce," said Lindsay Peterson, PhD, a research assistant professor in the school.
Two 新澳门六合彩内幕信息alumni, Kelly Smith, PhD, and Chris Biedal, who now work for a major accounting and consulting firm that specializes in long-term care, also attended the conference. Smith is an Aging Studies PhD graduate, and Biedal earned his bachelor's degree in finance from USF.
