Undergraduate students in the ABA minor gather in a large group outside

Students in an ABA-related program can take the BCaBA exam.

For the 2022 and 2023 calendar years, students sitting for their board certification exams to become Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts庐 (BCaBA庐) from USF's Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program have ranked number one in the country in terms of the percentage of students passing their certification exam on their first attempt. This ranking encompasses current and former students who have recently graduated from the ABA minor, the behavioral healthcare concentration in ABA, and the on-campus Master of Science program in ABA.

"This would not be possible without the dedication of our behavioral faculty, our talented doctoral student instructors, the support from the Department of Child and Family Studies, and administrative support from the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences!" said Bryon G. Miller, PhD, BCBA-D, an assistant professor of instruction.

The ABA programs provide students with the opportunity to seek board certification as a BCaBA庐 upon graduation.  With this certification, students can provide behavior-analytic services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst庐.
