Lifelong Learners of 新澳门六合彩内幕信息named Student Organization Program of the Year

The Lifelong Learners of 新澳门六合彩内幕信息student organization was recognized as the Student Organization Program of the Year during USF鈥檚 2024 Celebration of Leadership Awards. This distinction honors a student organization that positively contributes to the growth of USF's community through creative approaches to reach a diverse student body.

Faculty advisor from the School of Aging Studies, Amy Corbin, LCSW, accepted this award alongside students Kevin Lipton, president of the organization, and Chen-Yi Huang, who serves as vice president. 

As Lipton began auditing classes and exploring different student organizations, he shared with Corbin that it was difficult to find a group with a sense of community representative of his experience. Lifelong Learners of 新澳门六合彩内幕信息was born as an age-inclusive organization to better connect and represent USF's diverse student body. The group fosters intergenerational relationships through multiple free events and mentorship opportunities.

"It is often through a series of small steps that we can cultivate sustainable change," said Corbin.

Lifelong Learners of 新澳门六合彩内幕信息is helping to pave the way for USF's Age-Friendly University initiative, with inclusion at its core.
