Karah Greene Fall 2023 Cohort Send Email

Karah Greene graduated from 新澳门六合彩内幕信息with her BSW in May 2020 and her MSW in December 2021.  Karah was a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for three years and a Visiting Volunteer with the ALS Association for one year. These experiences opened Karah's eyes to deep-rooted health disparities and systemic problems faced by vulnerable populations, fueling her passion to promote health equity.

In 2020, Karah's desire to better help a family member living with HIV urged her to speak to a faculty member known for conducting research with people living with HIV. Serving as a study coordinator for multiple projects in subsequent years, Karah learned a lot about the research process. Her inquisitive nature has led her to pursue a PhD in social work. Karah has co-authored 14+ peer-reviewed publications and 23+ conference and research-based presentations. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, reading poetry, and spending time with her friends and family.
