Kathleen Rogers

College of Education welcomes Kathleen Rogers as the college’s Director of Communications and Marketing

Kathleen Rogers joins the College of Education with over 15 years of experience in strategic marketing planning, digital project management and content development for big brands. 

In her new role, Kathleen will lead the marketing and communications team for the College of Education. With her extensive writing experience, she will share the success stories of the college and alumni in our local, national and international communities. In addition, Kathleen will evaluate marketing efforts to effectively drive retention and increase enrollment for the College of Education.

Kathleen’s career started in New York City in media planning and buying at a global advertising agency. Working on behalf of clients, she developed strategic media plans with multi-million-dollar budgets for 10 years. 

Kathleen comes to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢from Publix Super Markets, where she developed their culture messages through the pandemic, crafted the content that shared the expansion of Publix’s tuition reimbursement program and led digital communication for Publix’s 90th-anniversary celebration.

Before her position at Publix, Kathleen worked within a digital team at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Health to build the new patient care website, which serves 18 healthcare departments. She also co-authored a weekly blog promoted on аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Health’s social media. These marketing initiatives were completed in preparation for the opening of the new Morsani College of Medicine.

Kathleen’s family has strong ties to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢and a love of the green and gold. Kathleen has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢College of the Arts. Her husband, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢class of ’96, is a proud Bull and their oldest daughter is a freshman at USF.
