The David C. Anchin Center hosted State and District Teachers of the Year for the program, 鈥淐elebrating Excellence: Professional Learning with Florida Teachers of the Year鈥� on September 9, 2023, in TECO Hall.
Representatives from Pinellas County, Sarasota County, and Hillsborough County jointly presented a positive outlook on the teaching profession, including Laura Meeham, Hillsborough 2022 District Teacher of the Year; Nicolette Barone, Hillsborough 2024 District Teacher of the Year; Jennifer Jaso, Sarasota 2023 District Teacher of the Year; Adam Zele Pinellas 2024 District Teacher of the Year; and Sarah Painter Florida 2022 Teacher of the Year.
