In the Spring of 2024, Honors students Nick Nechaiev and Tyler Briggs participated in a unique class where they served as consultants for local nonprofits. The course, "Sustaining Your Future – Becoming Consultants for a Better Tomorrow," led by Honors Professor Dr. Michael Cross, empowers students to drive positive change in the Tampa area and beyond.

Honors Students Connect Art and Nature Through Mural at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Botanical GardensÌý
Last fall, Honors students at аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢created a mural in the Botanical Gardens to illustrate the connection between humans and nature. Through the interdisciplinary course Art and the Environment, students explored their passions and gained new perspectives.

Honors freshman Avani Sanghvi has been selected for the prestigious Fulbright UK Summer Institute program. The third аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢student in six years to be admitted to the program, Sanghvi will spend three weeks studying at the University of Bristol.
