鈥淚onic strength (i.e., salinity) is an important parameter for accurately describing chemical processes in natural waters. This paper presents a novel method to measure ionic strength of fresh waters utilizing spectrophotometric pH measurements. This new method is more accurate and precise than traditional conductometric measurements of ionic strength.鈥 - Katelyn Schockman
