Rewarding our people

Dear аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢faculty and staff,

The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ is on a bold trajectory as a proud member of the Association of American Universities and our future is incredibly bright because of you — our world-class faculty, immensely talented staff and all members of our аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢team. Your contributions are the cornerstone of our institution’s continued pursuit of excellence, and your commitment to our students and programs across all three of our campuses and аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Health is truly remarkable.

For the third straight year, our dedicated team members will participate in a three percent (3%) discretionary pool of base salary increases for eligible out-of-unit administrative and staff employees. Supervisors will determine increases for individual employees based on criteria from Human Resources, including hiring date, performance history and equity adjustments. Increases will be effective October 11, 2024, and will be reflected on paychecks beginning November 1, 2024.

Wage increases will be distributed as follows:

  • All In-Unit employees: An overview of the wage increase cycle for In-Unit employees is available here. For in-unit employees, any increase will be implemented as permitted by and consistent with the collective bargaining agreement, as applicable. We are committed to bargaining in good faith with USF’s employee unions to provide these benefits to unionized employees in a timely manner.

  • Out-of-Unit employees: Learn more about eligibility criteria and wage adjustment procedures for out-of-unit employees here.

Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do to make us one of America’s leading research universities and ensure the success of our students.

Sincerely,

Rhea F. Law
President
