By using several archaeological methods, scientists are able to see a shift in how these estuaries were defended between 600 and 900 AD (аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Newsroom).

They’re aboard the R/V Weatherbird II, a research vessel that was also used in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response effort led by аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢(аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Newsroom).
