Graduate Student Clinicians Program

Application Process

The Graduate Student Clinician (GSC) Training Program accepts applications from USF graduate students from the disciplines of social work, mental health counseling, marriage & family therapy, and applied psychology (counseling, clinical, and school). Acceptance of graduate student clinicians is contingent on the expressed interest and capability of the student, availability of supervisors, and office space.

In order to qualify, applicants must be currently enrolled at 新澳门六合彩内幕信息and in good standing in their graduate program and be approved for a supervision model that may include primary supervision from a licensed professional and secondary supervision by an advanced trainee such as a doctoral psychology intern or a post-degree fellow.

Application Material:

  • Cover letter describing interest in collegiate mental health, any relevant experience, semester(s) applying for, and desired number of hours per week at the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息Counseling Center
  • CV or resume

Application Deadlines:

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year and depend upon available openings. Typically we are able to have 3 graduate student clinicians in Fall and Spring semesters. Please inquire if you are interested in a training opportunity with us. Thank you for your interest. 

Compensation Opportunities:

Paid positions are available for 新澳门六合彩内幕信息graduate students who are accepted to do required training with us (externship, internship, field placement, practicum, etc.). We require at least one full semester committment and a minimum of 16 hours per week during the semester. The student position pays $18.69 per hour.
