Alumni Spotlight:
Mike Taber is a Film Studies MA student who graduated in Spring 2022. After writing a thesis on the films of Terrence Malick and George Lucas, Taber accepted a teaching position at a private school in Sarasota, FL. Taber has taught American History, World History, Geography, Economics, U.S. Government, and Film Studies. Eric Ward Ross is an American Studies MA student who graduated in Spring 2016. After completing his thesis on Western films from the 1970s and their depictions of public space, citizenship, and gender, Ross went on to complete a PhD program at George Mason University where he now works as a Term Assistant Professor of Humanities.
