аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢alum Nels Matson completes cross-country run honoring U.S. veterans. The Muma College of Business graduate and ultrarunner completed the 3,063-mile mission in record time — clocking in as the third fastest transcontinental run in recorded history at 46 days, 17 hours and 26 minutes.
The 2024 аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Alumni Award recipients include Jay Nault, Finance '83 and MBA '84, Distinguished Alumni Award; Byron E. Shinn, Accounting '79, Donald A. Gifford Service Award; and Monica Wooden, Class of '56 Award.
The prestigious 2024 J. Michael and Mary Anne Cook/Deloitte Foundation Prize is a national award from the American Accounting Association recognizing superior teaching in accounting. Cainas won the Cook Prize in the undergraduate category.
Their legacy thrives beneath the Golden Arches. J.C. Prado ('79, Accounting), his wife, Jenifer, and children Rachel and J.C. Jr. have become Florida’s largest McDonald’s franchise holders, with 43 restaurants owned by The Prado Group.
