Requirements and Deadlines

The school district leadership, independent charter school, head of private school, or homeschool/PEP parent will request a DEAA (Dual Enrollment) and/or EAAA (Early Admission) from USF. Students, individual public schools or school counselors DO NOT request an articulation agreement.
Request an Articulation Agreement for Dual Enrollment
Students are ELIGIBLE to participate in dual enrollment once their public school district/ charter school/ private school / homeschool or PEP parent administrator has requested & signed an [Dual Enrollment Articulation Agreement (DEAA) with USF]. As the Homeschool or PEP administrator, you must send a copy of the signed letter from your local superintendent (the district you registered in) stating that your homeschooling took place in their district and is in compliance with state law.
Ask your school district or charter or private school to verify they have a DEAA with USF. Articulation Agreements are requested and signed by the following signing authorities: Public School Board Officials for that public school district; Homeschool or PEP parent/administrator; or Private / Charter School administrator.
REQUIREMENTS for STUDENTS
To be considered for dual enrollment at USF, students must be enrolled in a Florida public or nonpublic secondary school or in a homeschool and meet or exceed the following academic qualifications: Both GPA and TESTING must be fulfilled.
STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO KEEP TESTING (SAT AND ACT) EVEN THOUGH MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR DUAL ENROLLMENT ARE MET.
THE HIGHER THE ACT/SAT SCORES, THE HIGHER THE AWARDS IN SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS.
- Minimum 3.5 weighted high school GPA (Homeschooled Students Exempt from weighted calculation). Homeschool/PEP/Private schools must send transcript to dualenrollment@usf.edu.
- Minimum scores on ONE, not all of the following tests: Can pass one of the disciplines to attend (can only take courses within the discipline
which they pass)
- SAT: 560 Critical Reading / 530 Math
- ACT: 21 Reading / 21 Mathematics
- PERT: 114 Math / 106 Reading AND 103 Writing (Offered at State Colleges; ask your high school counselor) need 123 Math for MAC 1105; 114 in MATH allows the student to take natural science courses.
- PILOT FOR PSAT SCORES FOR DUAL ENROLLMENT 2024-2025
- PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10, The College Board
- Regular: Reading (24), Writing/Language (25), Mathematics (24)
- Digital: Reading and Writing (490), Math (480)
- CPT (Accuplacer): 256 Reading AND 253 Writing /and/or 250 AAF (Advanced Algebraic Function) OR 261 QSA (Qualitative Reasoning, Algebra & Statistics) (For 新澳门六合彩内幕信息TAMPA testing center: Students must apply as Non-Degree Students and Have a U#, Must bring Photo I.D.) - CLT (Classic Learning Test): 38 Verbal (V+W) / 16 Quantitative (Q math)

- If math scores meet requirements, students can take math/natural sciences
- Note the PERT differences (Math 114 allows science; Math 123 allows math)
- If reading AND writing meet requirements, students can take social science, English, and humanities level courses
- Homeschools/PEP/Private schools MUST send student test results to dualenrollment@usf.edu
- Homeschools/PEP/Private schools MUST send unofficial transcripts to dualenrollment@usf.edu

Homeschool administrators must send a copy of the signed letter from your local superintendent (the district you registered in) stating that your homeschooling took place in their district and is in compliance with state law - email dualenrollment@usf.edu
- TEST scores MUST BE in by NOV. 15th for Spring, and by June 15th for Fall for students to participate (this is for private and homeschools).
- Digital submission of "Approval Form 2" by a school counselor/administrator as ready for success at the college level of instruction. Counselor confirms that GPA and testing requirements have been met (number 35) in FORM 2.
- Official SAT or ACT scores must be sent to 新澳门六合彩内幕信息from the testing company. Send unofficial copy to dualenrollment@usf.edu. On the test application, request scores be sent to 新澳门六合彩内幕信息using school code 5828 for the SAT, and 0761 for the ACT. It usually takes 3-5 weeks for test results to arrive. CPT scores are not sent to us but are available to you from .
- Send partial unofficial high school transcripts and unofficial test scores to dualenrollment@usf.edu while waiting for official results.
- Students who need to register for tests must have their 新澳门六合彩内幕信息U number (U#) for the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息testing center (U numbers are assigned upon completion of Non-Degree Application) and must bring PHOTO ID!!!
- IMPORTANT: Students MUST HAVE access to a LAPTOP or DESKTOP for course work using google chrome. Use a laptop or desktop for academic processes and course work access, as Chromebooks/tablets use a different operating system.

IMPORTANT: Students who do not have a counselor submitted Dual Enrollment Approval FORM 2 will be DROPPED after registration.
The following courses are not eligible for dual enrollment:
- Courses of less than 3 credits (except for 1 credit labs)
- Performing arts studios and physical education/sports classes
- Reminder: ENC 1101, ENC 1102, ENC 2210, ENC 3246, ENC 3250 or any courses that require

arranges to pay for the textbook "新澳门六合彩内幕信息WRITES" for the student. Remedial courses such
as MAT 1033 are not part of the program.
Students must have all prerequisites needed for the given class. Transcripts, test scores, etc. can be used to show qualifications: Submit to dualenrollment@usf.edu

In compliance with Statute 1007.271, 新澳门六合彩内幕信息strives to submit its to the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) by August 1.
Deadlines related to application, school approval, and course enrollment reflect the sequence required for these actions.

continued Eligibility
- Students who maintain the minimum continuing eligibility standard and a post-secondary GPA of 2.0 or higher after accruing six (6) credit hours may be allowed to take up to eleven (11) credit hours per semester.
- Students must earn at least a 鈥淐鈥 (2.0) in all dual enrollment courses.
- Maintain a weighted 3.5 GPA on high school transcripts, including dual enrollment course grades.
- Students who receive a 鈥淐-", 鈥淒鈥, 鈥淔鈥, or 鈥淲鈥 in any given 新澳门六合彩内幕信息course will not be eligible for dual enrollment the subsequent fall
or spring semester unless they have more than one course.
WITHDRAWING: If students withdraws (W) from their 新澳门六合彩内幕信息class and do not have another 新澳门六合彩内幕信息dual enrollment class that semester, they must sit out the following semester. Or if their GPA falls below a 2.0. If a student withdraws after the Withdrawal period, the student will reiceve a (WF) as the penalty.
All students repeating a Dual Enrollment course, will repeat the course at their own expense even if for grade forgiveness. - Student who have allowed 3 semesters go by without attending must re-apply as a NEW student. (Examples: If you applied in the Fall and never attended Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters, you must have a new application you are considered NEW, If you applied for Spring and did not attend Spring, Summer, or Fall You must re-apply as you are then considered NEW.
