Undergraduate Research

Biomedical Engineering students are encouraged to have research experiences during their undergraduate education. The program advises students to seek part-time research opportunities during the academic year or full-time positions during the summer. Students should contact the research faculty directly for opportunities.

The Medical Engineering Department offers the BME 4914 - BME Undergraduate Research Experience course for qualified Biomedical Engineering majors conducting research to earn up to three credits. Students interested in earning research credit should contact the undergraduate advisor for more information.
