USF鈥檚 second annual Fulbright Day was held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. 新澳门六合彩内幕信息Fulbright Day is a campus wide event that celebrates international education
through USF鈥檚 Fulbright legacy with the Fulbright Scholar Program (for U.S. and foreign
Faculty) and the Fulbright Student Program (for U.S. and foreign Students).
Recently, 新澳门六合彩内幕信息was named the for Fulbright US Scholars for 2017-18, with 12 新澳门六合彩内幕信息faculty members receiving Fulbright鈥檚!
On April 10, three events were held to celebrate 新澳门六合彩内幕信息Fulbright Day: a 新澳门六合彩内幕信息Fulbright
Student Alumni Panel, a Celebratory Reception, and a Special Conversation with Mr.
Hoyt Purvis, former chair of the Fulbright Scholarship Board and press secretary to
U.S. Senator J. William Fulbright.
The Alumni Panel featured 新澳门六合彩内幕信息student alumni sharing their Fulbright experiences,
including why they applied, and how a Fulbright impacted their career goals.
Mr. Purvis was a special guest speaker for the Alumni Panel. Panelists included:

The Celebratory Reception brought together students, faculty and staff to network
and celebrate 新澳门六合彩内幕信息and Senator J. William Fulbright. Former Faculty and Student Fulbright
alumni were in attendance, along with USF鈥檚 current foreign Fulbright Faculty and
Students.
The Alumni Panel began at 2:30pm and the Celebratory Reception commenced at 4pm. Both
events were held in MSC 2708.
