PCGS Sustainable Business Concentration Director, Dr. Pradeep Haldar received the Excellence in Civic & Community Engagement Award as a recognition of PCGS鈥 partnership with the Tampa International Airport. Last semester, PCGS students in his class collaborated with TPA to review and revamp their environmental, social governance reporting efforts.

Jacob Wilson is a graduate student at PCGS pursuing a Master鈥檚 degree in Sustainable Business. Jacob has worked on several sustainability projects, both in the U.S. and Spain. One of his great interests is educating youth on environmental sustainability.

Solar CITIES Solutions, an organization founded by PCGS Climate Director, Dr. T.H. Culhane, focused on promoting sustainable solutions through biogas, has been nominated for three categories in the 2023 AD and Biogas Industry Awards, organized by the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association and the World Biogas Association.

Winnie Mulamba was in the class of 鈥19 at the Patel College of Global Sustainability with the academic concentration in Water Sustainability. Currently, Winnie is an Executive Director and is leading two sustainability collectives: Florida For Good (FFG) and B Tourism (BT), which are generating impacts on the local industry.

鈥淏reastfeeding: A Foundational Strategy to Strengthen Sustainability in Infant Nutrition and Development鈥 by Dr. Joseph Dorsey and Marian Davidove, M.A., RDN

Dr. Joseph Dorsey co-authored Chapter 17 in the Routledge Handbook of Sustainable Diets with PCGS alumna and Nutritionist, Marian Davidove, M.A., RDN. The chapter is entitled 鈥淏reastfeeding: A foundation strategy to strengthen sustainability in infant nutrition and development鈥 and highlights how initiating breastfeeding early in a child鈥檚 life is the cornerstone for implementing a sustainable diet with long-term positive effects.
