Overview
Welcome to the Supreme Court
The 新澳门六合彩内幕信息鈥檚 Student Government Judicial Branch is comprised by two main components: the Supreme Court and the Judicial Clerk. While the appointment of the Judicial Clerk is subject to the discretion of the Chief Justice, the Supreme Court stands as a permanent entity that adjudicates all cases and controversies within the purview of Student Government.
Beyond the paramount duty of upholding integrity and providing justice, this acting body also instituted three committees dedicated to the execution of initiatives to amplify our commitment to the student body across the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息鈥檚 three campuses: Document Analysis Committee, Internal Committee, and Outreach Committee. The objectives put forth by these committees are brought to fruition by the nine distinct justices that sit upon the Supreme Court. Such justices include one Chief Justice, one Ranking Justice, one Senior Justice, and six Associate Justices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUDICIAL BRANCH
- Hear cases and controversies involving Student Government
- Hold regular meetings to discuss general administrative issues and future business
- Hear cases of removal from office following Impeachment
- Hold Constitutional Judgement Panels and Declaratory Judgement Panels
- Review final student appeals of the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息Parking and Transportation Services violations
- Review appeals of student organizations and departments who have had their accounts frozen
- Review the constitutionality off referendums
- Hear cases and controversies regarding elections
- Issue Writ of Mandamus
