Responsible Employee Training for Employees (TIXREM) :
Responsible Employee Training for Supervisors (TIXRES):
WHAT:
Responsible Employee training covers sex discrimination and sexual harassment as it
pertains to Title VII, Title IX, VAWA, and the Clery Act. This training instructs
аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢employees on relevant laws, policies, their obligations, proper response to disclosures,
resources, reporting, resolution processes, and rights of the parties.
WHEN:
This training is required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
WHERE:
There are two ways to complete this training: attend a live training or complete the
online module.
• Live Training - Learners may receive this training live at orientation events or individual departments may request a live training for their employees by contacting the Title IX Coordinator.
• Online Training – An asynchronous module hosted on Canvas, the employee learning platform. See links above.
IMPORTANT! Employees take TIXREM (Responsible Employee Training for Employees) while Supervisors take TIXRES (Responsible Employee Training for Supervisors). The links to each training are provided above. If you are unsure which training you should complete, email titleixreports@usf.edu.
