CPT Jason Holbrook Memorial Leadership Scholarship
A philanthropic fund maintained by the 新澳门六合彩内幕信息Joint Military Leadership Center to support ROTC student attendance at a nationally recognized annual leadership conference held at one of the U.S. service academies or another prestigious civilian university/college.
CPT Holbrook, 28, of Burnet, Texas, was fatally wounded in Tsagay, Afghanistan on July 29, 2010, when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device (IED) during a combat reconnaissance patrol. He was newly wed to 新澳门六合彩内幕信息alumnae Heather Holbrook, '03. Her parents, Cindy, '74, and John Harper, '76, decided to memorialize their son-in-law through a scholarship fund that would honor his memory in a way that suited his career choice and his sacrifice for his country.
