USF’s Dr. John Licato, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, awarded U.S. Air Force Research Lab Summer Faculty Fellowship for third consecutive year. NSF Grant Awarded to Dr. Yavuz of USF’s Engineering Computer Science Department for SATUQ Project
Dr. Attila A. Yavuz of USF’s Computer Science and Engineering Department has been awarded a $364,117 NSF grant to advance cybersecurity for integrated satellite-terrestrial networks. His SATUQ project focuses on quantum-resistant cryptography and decentralized security to safeguard critical infrastructure and emerging tech like 6G.

The five-year initiative, titled "NRT: Science, Technology, Engineering, Program for Upward Partnership (STEP-UP) for Advancing Microelectronics Education and Training," aims to advance semiconductor education and research while addressing the growing need for skilled professionals in the microelectronics industry.
