General Facility Policies
General Recreation & Wellness Policies

- All Recreation & Wellness users must present a current, valid аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ID Card.
- Using false identification is a violation of the , individuals who present false identification or whose ID is presented by another
person may forfeit Recreation & Wellness privileges.
- Fraudulent IDs will be confiscated and destroyed; the owner will have to obtain a new ID through the card center.
- Entrance to Recreation & Wellness facilities is only allowed through the access control area of the Welcome Desk. Anyone found to have entered the facilities through any other means will be asked to leave the premises and further disciplinary action may be taken.
- Recreation & Wellness reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone.
- All policies outlined in the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Student Code of Conduct will be enforced.
- All Recreation & Wellness users are expected to be responsible, courteous, and safety conscious at all times. Behavior such as criminal activity, disorderly conduct, sexual harassment, recklessness, abuse or misuse of the facility and its equipment, or disregard for Recreation & Wellness policies and staff will not be tolerated. Violators will be required to leave the facility and may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including temporary or permanent revocation of Recreation & Wellness access. Fee-paying members who have their access revoked will not have any portion of their fees refunded.
- Recreation & Wellness is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Use of personal bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, powered transportation (includes,
but is not limited to, hover boards, skateboards, scooters, Segways, etc.), or roller
blades is prohibited inside all Recreation & Wellness facilities. Personal bicycles
are not permitted to be stored anywhere within Recreation & Wellness facilities (with
the exception of Outdoor Recreation Bike Shop).
- Due to their serious potential fire hazard, the operation, charging, or storage of transportation related devices with Lithium-Ion batteries/battery packs are prohibited inside any Recreation & Wellness facilities on USF's Campus. This includes, but is not limited to, hover boards, skateboards, scooters, Segways, etc.
- Pets are not permitted inside the facilities, except approved service animals.
- According to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Policy 6-033 (Animals on Campus) Section III, Subsection H, a service animals "[a]s defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA), Service Animals are dogs or miniature horses that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service Animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task an animal has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability and must always be with and under the control of the Eligible Person. The Service Animal may not be left unattended. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADAAA."
- In addition, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Policy 6-033 (Animals on Campus) Section V, Subsection K, "[a]ll animals including any of the animals falling in the Exceptions section of this Policy must not be unruly or disruptive, be in ill health or unclean. An animal may be removed from аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢property if the animal is a direct threat to the health and safety of others, or if the animal is disruptive or out of control. аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢may temporarily or permanently exclude any animal including any of those listed as Exceptions at the discretion of the facilities manager, EH&S or emergency personnel."
- Emotional support animals, defined as "[a]n animal whose sole function is to provide emotional support", are not permitted per аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Policy 6-033 (Animals on Campus) Section III, Subsection D.
- Any permitted animals must be on a leash, per аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Policy 6-033 (Animals on Campus) Section IV, Subsection A, where "[i]n parts of the campuses where animals may be permitted, such animals must be kept securely controlled by a harness or leash not to exceed ten (10) feet in length (unless there is an exception granted based on disability)."
- Participants may not use or be under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs in Recreation and Wellness facilities.
- Tobacco use of any kind is prohibited inside the facilities.
- Alcohol is prohibited.
- Food is restricted to the lobby or waiting area.
- Chewing gum is prohibited in all areas of Recreation & Wellness facilities.
- Only spill-proof water bottles are allowed inside the facilities.
- Gyms are closed thirty (30) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
- Recreational Rooms are closed fifteen (15) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
- Participants are not allowed to play personal music out loud from phone, speaker, or any other audio device.
- Participants are expected to clean up the equipment and spaces used during their time at the facilities.
- Standing on or leaning over railings is prohibited.
- Participants should report malfunctioning lights, temperature fluctuations, or any other maintenance concerns to the on-site Recreation & Wellness employee.
- Any injuries or possible risk must be reported to the Recreation & Wellness Staff on duty immediately.
- Signage or fliers of any type must be approved prior to posting.
- Closed-toe, non-marking athletic shoes and shirts are required at all times, except in designated rooms and areas.
- Picture taking and/or video recording inside Recreation & Wellness Facilities is subject to the following guidelines found in the Marketing & Media Policies.
- Photographs may be taken of informal recreation and programs by аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Recreation & Wellness or аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Communications & Marketing. These photographs are used for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the photographer.

- Log In or Sign Up!
- If you are a returning user, log in using your email/username or NetID
- If you are a new user, press "Sign Up" and follow the prompts to create your account
- Navigate to the "Guest Pass" icon and select it, then selecting "Guest Pass w/ Sponsor"
- Add the "Guest Pass w/ Sponsor" to your cart, and follow the prompts to checkout
- After purchasing, proceed to the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Recreation & Wellness Welcome Desk at the REC
facility, and show your receipt as proof of purchase

Equipment Info & Rental Policies

LOCATION
The Equipment Check Out Desk can be located on the top floor of the Campus Recreation Center (REC), to the right once you pass the main entrance gates.

POLICIES
- Equipment checkout is free to current аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢students and Recreation & Wellness Members with a valid аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ID.
- Guests are not allowed to check out equipment or reserve courts.
- Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All equipment must be returned the same day it was checked out; this excludes overnight equipment, only applicable for specific items.
- Participants are responsible for lost or damaged equipment. If equipment is not returned within a week of being checked out, it will be considered
lost and the participant will be responsible for the replacement cost of the equipment.
- Replacement or repair cost for damaged equipment is at the discretion of the Recreation & Wellness Staff.
- Bicycles and various camping equipment is available for check out through the Outdoor Resource Center on the Lower Level of the Campus Recreation Center (REC).
Lost and Found Info & Policies

LOCATION
Lost and Found is separate from each facility, and can be located by the list below:
- Campus Recreation Center (REC): Located at the Equipment Checkout Desk, left of the Cardio floor.
- The FIT: Located at the Front Desk.
- The WELL: Located at the Front Desk.
POLICIES
- Any items left unattended will be retrieved and turned in to Lost and Found if/when:
- The facility closes and patrons are no longer in the building.
- A Recreation & Wellness staff member deems the item(s) unattended for a reasonable amount of time.
- Items from Lost and Found across all Recreation & Wellness facilities are bagged up every two (2) calendar weeks and then donated to a local charity one (1) calendar week after being bagged.
If you believe you may have an item that was taken into Lost and Found that you would like to retrieve, you can call, email, or visit the Lost and Found desk(s) respectively in the REC, FIT, or WELL.

Fitness Policies
General Fitness Policies

- Appropriate athletic attire and closed-toed athletic footwear is required to utilize Recreation & Wellness Facilities.
- Clean towels are highly encouraged for personal use.
- Thoroughly clean equipment before and after each use using provided Gym Wipes found across the facility.
- Use of personal equipment (e.g. bands, attachments, bars) is permitted.
- A variety of equipment is available at the Equipment Checkout Desk at the REC with your аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ID. Return Equipment Checkout items promptly after use.
- Please limit the use of cardio equipment to 30 minutes during
- Peak times | 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- When all machines are occupied
- Bags of any kind (e.g. backpacks, equipment/workout bags, and purses) are not permitted in the fitness areas.
- Complimentary day-use lockers are available on the fitness floors and in the student locker rooms; Recreation & Wellness is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
- Food, chewing gum, and tobacco use of any kind is not permitted in any Fitness area.
- Only spill-proof water bottles are permitted in fitness areas, including the Group Fitness studios.
- Participants are required to use equipment for its intended purposes and maintain safety at all times.
- Personal Training (or any fitness consultation) by anyone other than a Certified Personal Trainer or Fitness Staff employed by аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Recreation & Wellness, while on shift, is strictly prohibited.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or broken equipment immediately to the Facilities Staff on duty.
- Personal items should be stored in lockers or cubbies.
- Participants are required to abide by all posted policies and staff member directions.
All users are expected to do their part to respect the Recreation & Wellness Facilities. For clarification on policies or assistance please see Facilities Staff on duty.
Group Fitness Info & Policies

- Register for Group Fitness classes online; registration opens 25 hours prior to the advertised start time of the class, log in to the online member portal utilizing your аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Net ID and password.
- Participants must cancel any registration for a group fitness class they can no longer attend; cancellation
must occur at least 15 minutes prior to the advertised start time of the class.
- This is to allow standby and waitlisted participants to join the class.
- Failure to arrive on time for three or more group fitness classes without properly canceling will result in a $5 No-Show Fee and a hold being placed on participant's student account.
- All group fitness classes begin promptly at the advertised start time and studio doors are locked. For your safety and the enjoyment of all participants, anyone arriving late (after the advertised start time) to a group fitness class will not be permitted to enter the studio. Arriving late to a class will result in a no show.
- Group Fitness participants must check in with the instructor or fitness staff prior to entering the studio for a Group Fitness class; participants that do not arrive at least five (5) minutes early will be marked as a no show and standby participants will be allowed in class.
- Closed-toe athletic shoes that are dry and free of dirt are required unless otherwise noted (e.g. yoga); cycle shoes are not permitted outside of the Cycle Studio.
- Participants are required to thoroughly clean equipment (e.g. mats, bikes, etc.) before and after each use.
- Only spill-proof water bottles are permitted in the group fitness studios.
- Food is not permitted in the Group Fitness Studios.
- Equipment provided during classes may not be removed from the Group Fitness Studios.
- Personal items are to be stored in lockers or cubbies.
- Participant displaying inappropriate behavior, or compromising the safety and/or format of the class may be dismissed from the class.
Cycling Studio Info & Policies

LOCATION
The Cycling Studio is located at the main Campus Recreation Center (REC), on the main Fitness floor.
POLICIES
- Participants are required to bring a clean towel for personal use.
- Participants are required to bring a spill-proof water bottle.
- Cycling shoes are not permitted outside of the Cycling Studio.
- Participants must thoroughly clean equipment before and after each use.
Platforms & Functional Training Policies

LOCATION
These policies cover the Platforms & Functional Training areas located in the Campus Recreation Center (REC).
Deadlifting or Olympic weightlifting is expressely prohibited at The FIT and WELL Facilities.
POLICIES
- Users are expected to:
- Be proficient in barbell movement.
- Maintain control of their weights.
- Bumper plates and Olympics bars must stay in the platform area.
- Compressed chalk is allowed on the lifting platforms; please clean chalk residue using the wipes provided.
- Loose chalk is prohibited.
- User may stand on resistance bands while on the lifting platforms; bands may not be attached to bumper-plate storage racks or platforms.
- No decagon-shaped weights more than 10 pounds (lbs) are to be used on the platforms.
- If over 10lbs, then all weights must be the Olympic bumper plates.
- Slam balls may be thrown at the wall only within the designated area.
- Clips are required on all barbell exercises.
- During peak times, please allow others to work in.
- At the conclusion of your workout, all bumper plates and clips are to be cleared from the bar and put back in the proper location.

East/North Gym Info & Policies

EAST/NORTH GYM
Two large, multi-purpose indoor spaces located in the Campus Recreation Center (REC): East Gym & North Gym. Both spaces house basketball hoops, volleyball courts, and can be configured for a variety of open recreation opportunities.

AVAILABILITY
Open recreation in the East and North Gym operates on a shared play.

POLICIES
- All Recreation & Wellness General Policies outlined in the Conduct Standards & Policies will be enforced.
- During open recreation, no one group can monopolize the courts for more than one hour.
- Sport Club practices outside of designated reservation times is strictly prohibited.
- Sport Clubs may not use open recreation times for practices.
- Practicing for an Intramural (IM) sport(s) is strictly prohibited.
- Closed-toe, non-marking athletic shoes and athletic clothing are required at all times.
- Only spill-proof water bottles are allowed; food and gum are not permitted.
- Grabbing or hanging on the rims or nets, or hand in the cylinder, is not permitted due to safety and maintenance concerns.
- The curtain will only be lowered for Intramural, Special Events or for safety concerns based on the discretion of the Recreation & Wellness Staff.
- Personal headsets are welcome, but the use of radios/portable stereos or amplified sound is not permitted in any Recreation & Wellness facility without prior approval.
- Gyms are closed thirty (30) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
- Recreational Rooms are closed fifteen (15) minutes prior to the close of the REC.

Indoor Track Info & Policies

LOCATION
The indoor track is located in the Campus Recreation Center (REC), circling above the East Gym floor on the second story. The length of the track is 1/12 of a mile; therefore twelve (12) laps in the center lane equals one (1) mile.
POLICIES
- All Recreation & Wellness General Policies outlined in the Conduct Standards & Policies will be enforced.
- Enter the track with caution.
- Participants must use the track in the designated direction.
- The track direction changes daily and is indicated at the entrance to the track.
- Walkers should use the inside lanes and runners should use the outside lanes.
- Appropriate athletic shoes must be worn; athletic clothing is required at all times.
- Spiked shoes, turf shoes, sandals, or open-toed shoes are not permitted.
- All footwear must be dry and free of dirt before participating.
- Standing, horseplay, spectating, and/or stretching are not permitted on the track lanes.
- Throwing or dropping items to or from the track is prohibited.
- No more than two runners or walkers side by side.
- Gyms are closed thirty (30) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
- Recreational Rooms are closed fifteen (15) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
Badminton/Pickleball Info & Policies

LOCATION
Badminton and Pickleball is available primarily in the North Gym of the Campus Recreation Center (REC Center). Equipment can be brought or checked-out from our Equipment Room at the REC Center.
POLICIES
All Recreation & Wellness General Policies outlined in the Conduct Standards & Policies will be enforced.
- Minimum of two (2) people to play (1:1) on a single court.
- There has to be a minimum of six (6) people to set up two courts.
- There has to be a minimum of 10 people to set up three courts.
- Three (3) courts maximum will be set up for open recreation; groups are expected to share nets as there are no court reservations for badminton and pickleball.
- During open recreation, no one group can monopolize the courts for more than one hour.
- Closed-toe, non-marking athletic shoes and athletic clothing are required at all times.
- Gyms are closed thirty (30) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
- Recreational Rooms are closed fifteen (15) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
Volleyball Info & Policies

LOCATION
These policies cover the indoor volleyball courts located at the Campus Recreation Center (REC).
Currently, volleyball can be played only in the North Gym.
EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT
Volleyballs are available for use, free of charge. Our equipment room is located in the main level of the REC, near the Cardio Floor.

POLICIES
- All Recreation & Wellness General Policies outlined in the Conduct Standards & Policies will be enforced.
- Minimum of eight (8) people are required to set up a single court (4:4).

Minimum of 16 people to set up two courts.

Two (2) courts maximum will be set up for open recreation.

Exception - One (1) court will be set up if badminton courts are requested to be set up

These policies cover the racquetball/handball, squash, and wallyball courts located at the Campus Recreation Center (REC Center).
At present, the following racquetball courts are open: 3, 4 & 5.
The squash court is temporarily closed.

EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT
Racquets, balls, goggles, and other equipment are available for use, free of charge. Our equipment room is located in the main level of the REC, near the cardio floor.

POLICIES
- All Recreation & Wellness General Policies outlined in the Conduct Standards & Policies will be enforced.
- Handball is allowed on racquetball courts.
- The Squash court is available for Squash only.
- Racquetball, Handball, Squash, and Wallyball are the only activities allowed on the courts unless approved by Recreation & Wellness staff in advance.
- Reservations can be made up to one day in advance. (i.e. for a Tuesday reservation, call anytime Monday)
- Reservations can only be made for single, one hour blocks (e.g. 1:00 - 2:00 PM)
- Reservations can only begin on the hour.
- Reservations can be made a maximum of five (5) minutes after the current hour.
- Reservations are forfeited if participants do not check-in by ten minutes after their reservation time.
- Only a maximum of four (4) people are allowed on the courts at one time.
- Closed-toe, non-marking athletic shoes, and shirts are required while in the courts.
- Protective goggles are recommended while playing.
- Failure to adhere to these policies may result in facility usage restrictions.
- Gyms are closed thirty (30) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
- Recreational Rooms are closed fifteen (15) minutes prior to the close of the REC.
Badminton Info & Policies

Badminton is currently available only in the North Gym of the Campus Recreation Center (REC).

POLICIES
- All Recreation & Wellness General Policies outlined in the Conduct Standards & Policies will be enforced.
- All users must present a current, valid аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ID card to use outdoor facilities if requested by Recreation & Wellness Staff Member or University Police Department.

Non-university groups/individuals must have an Event Permit from the Recreation & Wellness Department.
- аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢groups of 15+ people are not allowed, and they must make a field reservation through аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Recreation & Wellness Special Events.
- Pets are not permitted at any outdoor facility; except approved service animals.

Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service Animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task an animal has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability and must always be with and under the control of the Eligible Person. The Service Animal may not be left unattended. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADAAA."
- In addition, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Policy 6-033 (Animals on Campus) Section V, Subsection K, "[a]ll animals including any of the animals falling in the Exceptions section of this Policy must not be unruly or disruptive, be in ill health or unclean. An animal may be removed from аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢property if the animal is a direct threat to the health and safety of others, or if the animal is disruptive or out of control. аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢may temporarily or permanently exclude any animal including any of those listed as Exceptions at the discretion of the facilities manager, EH&S or emergency personnel."
- Emotional support animals, defined as "[a]n animal whose sole function is to provide emotional support", are not permitted per аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Policy 6-033 (Animals on Campus) Section III, Subsection D.
- Any permitted animals must be on a leash, per аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Policy 6-033 (Animals on Campus) Section IV, Subsection A, where "[i]n parts of the campuses where animals may be permitted, such animals must be kept securely controlled by a harness or leash not to exceed ten (10) feet in length (unless there is an exception granted based on disability)."
- Closed toe shoes are required to participate in physical activity at any outdoor facility.
- Glass bottles are not permitted at any outdoor facility.
- All chained equipment is used for programmed Recreation & Wellness activities only.
- Any tampering with this equipment will be considered vandalism.
- Field lights are at the discretion of the Recreation & Wellness Staff and may be turned off in periods of field maintenance.
- Use of metal cleats is not permitted.

The аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢FIT Esports Lab is open to all currently enrolled аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢students and аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢faculty/staff with a valid аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ID during scheduled open hours.

Users of the Esports Lab must always comply with all staff directives and all other departmental, university, state, and federal policies, including the technology use policies of аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢(no installation of program on computers, etc.).

The Lab PCs are to be used for approved gaming purposes only, all other uses prohibited.

All lab equipment, including hardware, peripherals, furniture, etc. is not to be removed from the lab for any reason.

No food or beverages are allowed into the Esports Lab except for water. Water must be in a sealed, leak-proof container. Consumption of alcohol or other substances is strictly prohibited.
- Bags and personal belongings must always be stored under the desk or at a staff designated location and out of the way.
- Personal gear (including but not limited to) peripherals, backpacks, etc. must not show discriminatory or profane decals.

Demonstrate respect for equipment and personnel – no toxicity allowed.
- All participants must adhere to both and Recreation & Wellness Codes of Conducts, including but not limited to the following
directive:
- Treat Sports Programs and Recreation & Wellness Staff with respect.
- Act with character and courtesy while respecting the rights, welfare and dignity of all others in the Esports facility.
- Refrain from vulgar language and offensive conduct.
- Act in a safe, responsible manner regarding equipment, self, and others.
- Contact a member of the Sports Programs Staff should an accident, injury, or related incident occur.
- During emergency situations, follow the direction of аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Recreation & Wellness Staff.
- Gaming sessions will be capped to the amount of time reserved. Failure to adhere to
these time limits may result in disciplinary action.
- Users will be limited to two (2) sessions per day - Four (4) hours max.
- No new games should be started that may exceed the amount of time reserved or the closing of the lab - Thirty (30) minutes recommended.
- Be sure to log out of all game accounts before leaving your station.
DISCIPLINE POLICY
аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Esports and Recreation & Wellness will use a three-strike discipline system for the FIT Esports lab. The details of the system follow as below:

- Playing over your allotted reservation time.
- Defying any of the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Esports Lab Policies.
- Not following instructions of the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Sports Programs Staff.
- Any other action deemed punishable by аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Sports Programs Staff.

Athletic Training (AT) Clinic Info & Policies

POLICIES
- The AT Clinic is committed to providing all patients with the best possible care.
- All Rules and Policies from the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Student Code of Conduct applies in the AT Clinic; please treat everyone in a respectful manner.
- All Recreation & Wellness Facilities Policies must be followed.
- Attire must be compliant with Recreation & Wellness Facilities Policies
- Only certified Athletic Training Staff is allowed to perform treatments such as, but not limited to, electrical stimulation.
- Permission must be granted before using any equipment, and must be used within the appropriate spaces while in use.
- No rude behavior, hazing, and/or any hate language will be tolerated.
- No food or drinks allowed; water is permitted.
- No shoes on any tables/benches in the AT Clinic.
- Usage of phones is allowed, however no photography is permitted inside/into the AT Clinic as to provide privacy for our patients.
Outdoor Recreation Policies
Riverfront Park Info & Policies

The is located directly off Fletcher Avenue. Riverfront Park is home to the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Challenge Course, the Boathouse, an 18-hole disc golf course, and pavilions for rental.

POLICIES
- All Recreation & Wellness General Policies outlined in the Conduct Standards & Policies will be enforced.
- The Riverfront Park is for use by аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Students, Staff, Faculty, and reservation only.
- Campfires are permitted in designated campfire circles only.
- If there is a fire ban in place for Hillsborough County, fires are not permitted.
- Riverfront Park closing times are listed on our website and on-location at the park.
- Visitors must exit the park prior to closing.
- Failure to do so constitutes trespassing, and vehicles remaining after park close are subject to tow at the owner’s expense.
- No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are permitted at Riverfront Park at any time.
- No glass bottles may be used at Riverfront Park.
- Organized groups of 10+ are not allowed as they must make a pavilion reservation.
- Your group is responsible for cleaning up the pavilion area after use; please place recyclable material and trash in the proper receptacles.
- Upon arrival and departure, please check in and out at the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Boathouse; before leaving,
a staff member will review the Pavilion area.
- For reservations occurring while the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢Boathouse is closed, keep a copy of the reservation confirmation email at the pavilion with the group at all times.
- Dogs must be leashed at all times; owners are required to clean up after their dog and place waste in the proper receptacle.
- No vehicles will be allowed to drive or park by the Pavilions.
- Groups with catering concerns may make prior arrangements with the Recreation & Wellness Special Events Team.
- Water balloons, silly string, confetti (et al.) are strictly prohibited.
- Challenge Course activities, Pavilion reservations, and Recreation & Wellness Special Events take precedence over open recreation, including disc golf, and may impact the available activities for open recreation.
- Challenge Course activities may not be used without Challenge Course Staff supervision.
- Boat rental is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Large groups can make arrangements in advance to be billed for boat rentals after their event.

POLICIES
- We want for our trips to be safe, fun, and memorable.
- Due to weather and other safety concerns, trip itineraries are subject to change.
- Trip Leaders will communicate any changes in a timely manner.
- Outdoor Recreation practices strong ethics.
Pack it in, pack it out! - All students participating in Recreation & Wellness Programs are expected to follow
the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÄÚÄ»ÐÅÏ¢ Student Code of Conduct.
- Should violations of said Code occur, participants risk expulsion from the trip and barring from participation in future programs.
- Outdoor Recreation does not condone hate speech, bullying, emotional or physical abuse, or racism on any of our trips. Use of such language or actions could result in expulsion from the program.  We pride ourselves in a creating an inclusive community space where meaningful dialogues and personal growth can take place.
- Adventure Trips are Alcohol Alternative Programs, therefore no alcohol is allowed to be consumed during the trip. Any underage consumption could result in University judicial consequences.
- No illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia are allowed on trips in any fashion.
- Breach of this rule will result in an immediate expulsion from the trip and could result in University judicial consequences.
- We reserve the right to cancel a program due to inclement weather, natural disasters,
or extenuating circumstances.
- In the event we must cancel a program, a full trip refund will be provided.

- Patrons must shower before entering the pool.
- Patrons must wear appropriate swim attire while using the pool.
- All diaper-aged patrons must wear a swim diaper at all times in the pool area.
- Patrons are required to utilize the locker rooms while changing into or out of swim attire; changing clothes is not permitted in the pool area.
- Patrons under the age of 16 and patrons wearing flotation devices must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Glass containers, alcoholic beverages, food, drinks, and gum are not permitted in the pool area.
- Running, wrestling, and horseplay are not permitted in the pool area.
- Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and roller skates are not permitted in the pool area.
- Animals (excluding service animals that are registered with Student Accessibility Services) are not permitted in the pool area or locker rooms.
